This is long overdue, but better late than never, right?
In this podcast episode, Michael Green delivers the 2023 Annual Report from the Toronto conference of the Graphic Medicine International Collective. He describes the history, activities, progress, and plans of GMIC as we move into the next phase of our growth. Since his talk in July of 2023, we have achieved several of the goals he describes, including progress on our governance, launching our syllabus repository, recruiting new board members, (stay tuned!) and progress on the next phase of the Frontline Comics Project.
By way of update, please note that the submission process for the 2024 Graphic Medicine award has just closed, but matching grant contributions are still very welcome. The deadline for the Peter James Burns Scholarship is March 15, 2024. (And we are still accepting matching gifts for these travel scholarships as well!)
