Artist Lisa Wilde has created a moving and beautifully drawn graphic medicine narrative series which can be viewed on Mutha Magazine. The story is called, “Lacunae: Elegy For My Mother.”
Lisa writes of this five-installment project, “This serialized webzine has a spare narrative, the power (I hope) is carried primarily by the drawings, which are childlike and visceral. A friend said they were a cross between Chagall and Munch, with a little Eva Hesse thrown in.”
