The Arnold P. Gold Foundation is thrilled to gather our community in person for the 2024 Gold Humanism Summit: The Person in Front of You, taking place February 29 to March 2, in Atlanta, Georgia. This interprofessional, international event will be focused on igniting humanism to create the tangible changes necessary to heal the heart of healthcare. Here are two ways to participate:
- SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
Deadline: September 12
We are seeking presentations on projects, programs, research, and initiatives in healthcare that demonstrate action-oriented approaches related to the following conference themes:

- Humanism in action
- Humanities
- Communication and connection
- Technology
- Well-being
- Trust
- Diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism
- Mentorship
We are also interested in projects that:

- encourage interprofessional teamwork
- reflect a broad range of healthcare professional perspectives and experience
- demonstrate positive change as a result of public-private partnerships across all sectors of the healthcare ecosystem and collaborations with community organizations
- will be highly engaging and interactive, and embody one or more of the conference themes
Submissions will be accepted for the following general formats (a project may be selected for more than one type of presentation):

- 45-minute lecture-style presentation, including Q&A
- 45-minute panel presentation, including Q&A
- 45-minute workshop, with additional requirements for the abstract
- Poster presentation

2. SUBMIT ARTWORK
Deadline: October 1
You are welcome to submit works in the form of written narrative, visual art, music, video, poetry, dance, and more. We encourage art submissions to align with our conference themes; however, it is not a requirement.
All works submitted will be considered for inclusion in a widely disseminated digital art gallery that will be featured during the conference and through our website, as well as included in a widely disseminated digital catalogue. Select pieces will be invited for display in the physical conference art gallery and optionally donated to a silent auction held during the conference, proceeds of which will support programmatic enhancements of the Gold Foundation.
