Educational
Educational Comics teach some aspect of medicine which can include types of caregivers, one or more medical topics, treatments, body function(s), how to use medical tools, teaching patients about their care, among many other educational aspects. The educational medical graphic works can vary from a pamphlet, mini-comic, to a long work or a graphic novel. They might be directed toward patients with age-suitable materials; or to educators, caregivers, or healthcare providers. Their illustrations can be realistic anatomically or they may be more simplistic for the reader to get the general idea of what’s being taught. They might be multi-lingual to match the audience. If you have an Educational Comic that you would like to have reviewed; or if you would like to do a review of an Educational comic, please contact us at https://www.graphicmedicine.org/contact/.
