Mini-Comics
Mini-Comics are self-published and often unregistered without an ISBN (international standard book number). Typically, these works are shorter (maybe fifty pages or less), stapled rather than bound, and more cheaply printed, because the creator pays all printing costs. Usually they lack color images, except maybe the cover, to also save on printing costs. It’s self-marketed at local comic conventions (regular or alternative) and/or comic book shops on consignment. If you have a Mini-Comic that you would like to have reviewed; or if you would like to do a review of a Mini-comic, please contact us at https://www.graphicmedicine.org/contact/.
