Will Continuing Medical Education (CME)/Continuing Education Units (CEU) be offered?

We are currently applying for preapproval of CEUs for Certification in Medical Illustration for applicable programming. Information on credits offered per presentation will be listed as it becomes available. We won’t be offering CME units for this event due to the low demand from our past attendees.

It is very easy to obtain your CEUs for Certification in Medical Illustration. You only need to complete one Verification form for the entire meeting. Your Verification form must be submitted within 30 days of the meeting end date. Follow the steps below to submit your verification form:

1. Log on to www.AMI.org
2. Along the left side of the web page click on “Submit Verification Form”.
3. Check off all classes and workshops you attended from the list of activities. All the Graphics Medicine Conference activities will be listed and you simply need to click in the box next to the ones you attended. When prompted, evaluate each activity you check off. Leave the “CME Certificate” blank. Hit submit. All your CEUs should be instantly recorded on your “My CEUs” page.

Can I volunteer in exchange for free conference registration?

All of our volunteer slots are now full. Thank you to all who applied!

Is Tuition Remission Available?

Due the low cost of registration, we are not offering tuition remission. The cost of registration has been greatly reduced from the actual cost of the conference due to fundraising efforts made by our local organizers during the last year. We are very grateful to our sponsors who thought this event was worth supporting!

I need to cancel my registration/get a refund. I have questions about my ticket.

Brown Paper Ticketing is handling all reservations for the 2014 Comics and Medicine conference. You’ll need to contact them to request a refund if needed. Refunds are available for reasons other than an event being canceled or postponed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact them to see if you are eligible:
Phone:    1-800-838-3006
Email:    Support@BrownPaperTickets.com
Hours:    24/7/365

I’m a friend/co-worker/family member of a presenter, and I would like to see her/his talk only. Do I need to register for the conference?

All attendees must register for the conference. We may be hitting room capacity at times. We would need to hold a registration spot for those who are asking to see just one talk. Holding these spaces could mean having to turn away others who would want to see the whole conference.
