Keynote Speakers 2014

Summary Schedule:

Thurs. June 26th, 2014

Opening Reception: 4pm-6:30pm at the Pre-Clinical Teaching Building on the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus.

  • 4pm-5:30pm: Opening of the Conference Exhibit with drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
  • 5:30-6:30pm: Opening Lightning Talks.
  • Dinner on your own, we suggest the Mount Vernon neighborhood near the Peabody Court hotel.

Fri. June 27th, 2014

  • A full day of oral presentations, lightning talks, panel discussions and workshops with two (of four) Keynote Speaker lectures at the Pre-Clinical Teaching Building on the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus.
  • Dinner on your own, we suggest the Hampden neighborhood near the Atomic Books event: Laydeez do Comics.
  • Laydeez do Comics will be hosted by Atomic Books in the Hampden neighborhood at 7:30pm.

Sat. June 28th, 2014

  • A full day of oral presentations, panel discussions and workshops with two (of four) Keynote Speaker lectures at the Pre-Clinical Teaching Building on the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus.
  • We suggest the Brewer’s Art for an informal Saturday night post-conference hangout. Dinner on your own, we suggest the Mount Vernon neighborhood near the Peabody Court hotel.

Sun. June 29th, 2014

  • THIS TOUR IS NOW FULL. We have scheduled an optional group tour at the The American Visionary Arts Museum at 10am to see the exhibit, Human, Soul & Machine: The Coming Singularity!  A discounted fee of $10 in cash will be required at the time of the tour.

    I have written, drawn and published two books of 12-steps recovery cartoons. These hilarious, single frame, one-liner cartoons are arranged according to each of the 12-steps and 12-traditions, adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous.
