The Graphic Medicine International Collective (GMIC) is thrilled to announce the 2024 shortlists for the GMIC Awards for outstanding health-related comic projects completed and/or published in 2023!
This award is made possible by a generous matching grant in Honor of Nancy and Herbert Wolf, and is intended to honor and carry on their legacy of service and care. We thank the members of our 2024 independent panel of eight shortlist judges. They read the 89 submitted works over the past several months and engaged in challenging deliberations to arrive at these lists. A new independent panel of judges will choose the winners, which will be announced at the closing of our 2024 conference in Athlone, Ireland on July 18th.
