Our Graphic Medicine conference – Que(e)rying Graphic Medicine : Paradigms, Practices and Power – was held in Brighton last week. It was a great success. The magic was there again this year, as it has been at all the previous conferences. We engaged Camille Aubry to live scribe the proceedings. Camille is a French illustrator and comic book artist based in Bristol. She graduated as an architect in Paris before completing an MA in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts. Conference Registration is open
Conference registration for the 2019 International Graphic Medicine Conference in Brighton is now open. We had a phenomenal response to our call for papers with over 150 proposals from 22 countries. Abstracts were selected by a team of seven people. One of the selectors, Profession Susan Squier commented: “Things have gone to another level with regards to the standard of proposals for this conference. The field is maturing.
