
The Graphic Medicine website was founded in 2007 by Ian Williams, a physician and cartoonist from North Wales who currently resides in Hove, England.
Ian continues to serve as site General Co-editor and the News Editor.

MK Czerwiec is a site General Co-editor and Spotlight Editor.
In 2012, MK Czerwiec — a nurse, educator, and cartoonist — joined Ian to help upgrade and relaunch GraphicMedicine.org. She currently resides in Southwest Michigan.

Matthew Noe is a site General Co-editor and the site’s Social Media Editor.
In 2017 Matthew Noe’s “This Week in Graphic Medicine” posts were migrated from his site to this one, and he officially joined the site. He currently lives in Worcester, MA.

Alice joined the site in 2019. She currently lives in Coppell, TX.

Kevin joined the site in 2019. He currently lives in Chicago, IL
Kevin is a retired health actuary (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and former member of the American Academy of Actuaries). He has published articles on national health care, end-of-life care of his mother, and the cemetery where his parents-in-law are buried. He recalls writing over fifty book reports one year when he was in grade school, and now he writes them here.

Michael Green is the site’s Research Editor.
Michael is a physician, ethicist, artist, and a co-founder of the field of graphic medicine. He is also a board member of the Graphic Medicine International Collective. More of his bio can be read here.
