‘This Week in Graphic Medicine’ highlights relevant articles (and tweets) about comics in medicine published during the week (Saturday – Friday). Links are typically presented without commentary, unless clarification of relevance is necessary, with credit given to those who flagged them up where possible. So without further ado…

This week, Comics and Medicine: The Ways We Work, 2018 Conference Updates!
- The hosts of this year’s conference – The Center for Cartoon Studies and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth – have launched the big marketing push for the conference, coming this August. Some links include… CCS Press Release ; VT’s Seven Days ; Valley News ; Dartmouth News
- Registration for the conference is OPEN! If you act fast, you can get early bird pricing until April 15th. You can find more information about travel and hotels on the official conference site.
- Keep an eye on your email if you submitted a proposal to present! Notices have been trickling out all week and as the conference schedule becomes more finalized with folks acceptances, everyone should know one-way-or-the-other their status shortly!
